Shotokan Karate
The foundation of Rocky Mountain Budokan since 1965. Shotokan Karate emphasizes powerful, linear techniques and deep stances rooted in centuries of Japanese tradition. Classes available for juniors and adults ages 15 and older.

Kendo (Japanese Fencing)
Japanese fencing practiced with bamboo swords (shinai) and protective armor (bogu). Incorporated at the dojo in 1973, Kendo develops focus, respect, and decisive action through rigorous training.

Iaido (Art of Sword Drawing)
The meditative art of sword drawing — Muso-Shinden-Ryu Iaido. Iwakabe Sensei studied under Master Danzaki Tomoaki, 9th Dan Hanshi in Japan, and began teaching at the dojo in 1977.
